I really enjoyed my 5 nights with BM- i thought breakfast was good and met so many kind and fun people. The staff were also extremely kind- on the 12th May (around 1am) there was a man at reception and i had been robbed with my friend- he was fantastic and so lovely. please pass on our thanks to him.
The only single thing that i feel could be improved would be the shower cutting out every 15seconds! but otherwise everything was great- you run a very good business. Thank you

When we turned up we were told they had only reserved one bed for us even though the reservation said two beds. They said they had no spare beds in dorms, so they gave us a private room which they keep for emergencies. So it turned out very well!

Hotel staff was friendly despite not very attentive, breakfast was good (continental style). Air conditioning and free wi-fi in the common room.
The hostel is located on a streen populated by immigrants selling stolen cell phones. The showers were not very well set up, some of them required clicking a button every 3 seconds (literally), some of them provided cold water only. No induvidual lights, so the main lamp is turned on everytime anyone comes in the room, even if the night. I was advised to pay by cash, since the amount to pay will increase by 7% if paying with a card (never experienced this before).

The atmosphere was good for solo or group travelars.
The area was not seems safe very much. If you are planning to go out at mid night alone, you should be careful a lot.

The staff were very helpful, it was well-organised and good value for money. The location is perfect for exploring the old city by foot - the only time I used public transport was to get to and from the airport. The big swipe card activated lockers in the room are good for peace of mind.
The large (10 bed) mixed dorms weren't ideal as a female traveller.

Very secure (need a key to access front door and personal lockers within rooms), and social. All facilities that were needed were there. And free breakfast, although actually, I never made it in time.. But it was nice that it was there.
Kitchen shut at 11pm so sometimes when I wanted to get hold of my food/drink, I couldn't. And that I had to pay to store my bag on the last day when all other hostels I've stayed at offer that for free!

The affordability of the hotel rates. It will make us easier to stay longer in the future visit. Nice gestures of all the staff from reception down to the chambermaid. The accesibility of the use of the kitchen where it will give us again more savings.
Everything is ok except for a fact that you cannot really educate your room mates of how to clean and organize their things.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with a flat screen TV, air conditionning controlable remotely and electronic locker (for safety). The room is located a bit further in the street compared to the hostel, but in a better location (safer and very close to Las Ramblas avenue). The staff in the hostel was also very friendly and helpful, which was very good.
The only small drawkbacks I can find were : the quarter where the hostel is located doesn't look very safe (prostitutes on the street) and is quite dirty; the room was dark even if perfectly clean and comfortable.

Could not expect anything better. If you are looking for an awesome place, with awesome staff where everything just works, for this price, don't think twice. 5 stars staff!!!
This place is not luxurious and the surroundings are not very family friendly. Come to meet great people, be near anything in Barcelona, and have a great time.
